Has anyone ever used hock and/or stopper pad protectors and can recommend a brand that has a chance of staying on?

well I haven’t used hock ones but I used to just resort to vet wrap around the stopper pads as tried a few different brands and they all just slipped down/ span. You only need a couple of turns of it so a roll lasts a while.

She burns through vet wrap 
It helps but only for a limited number of reps. It’s also a pain to put on all four legs as frequently as I need, I thought velcro might be quicker. I did think they might be prone to spinning though.

Ah fair enough I only used to do the front legs! The best ones I found for not spinning were leather ones but I thought they restricted movement slightly for agility, depending on what you were after them for.

I got some leather and Velcro ones off Etsy many years ago. They worked ok but I didn’t do agility.

just vet wrap here. Might be worth trying other brands, or adding a thin flexible layer under?

You could strap lead weights to this dog and it wouldn’t restrict her movement 
so I think leather could be ok if that’s the best material for staying put. I am seeing some neoprene ones but the way she goes I suspect they’d end up being semi disposable.
I will do some vet wrap experiments in the mean time but it’s proving impractical for the frequency I need them on, and for all four - hocks are getting the worst of it at the moment.

I used to have some from Forest Fleece for Dobby which fit and stayed on well. I know lots of friends who use The Dog Box and love them.

The vet wrap (AKA dickhead socks) survived a two hour group session today but I did do about four wraps round on each leg, that's half a roll each time I want to take her out.
Extremely tempted to buy these in a batshit colour and do canine Jane Fonda.
