Can anyone recommend the best hock boots for wearing over night in the stable?

One of my horses is kicking her side and back wall at night whilst in, and is grazing and swelling both her hocks. She's in season, so it's probably something to do with hormones and the horse next door - but I need something in place for the next week or so, just whilst the problem relieves itself and to protect the hocks until they've healed.

Looking for ones which are light weight and not likely to rub. Anyone able to recommend any brand in particular?

My gelding rubs the hair off one of his hocks on the back of the stable wall at night. I bought a pair of the neoprene ones, but they can't really lie down comfortably in them due to the middle strap. I think for long term use, you'd be better with the more expensive blocked leather & wool ones with the loose lower strap. (Old fashioned style).

I've got a pair of traditional felt & leather boots, Jeffries ones, but was concerned that the leather straps might be more inclined to rub when being worn for 10-12 hours, than the wider velcro straps on the Neoprene type would be to. Your comment about the middle strap making bending the hock for laying down awkward, makes me wonder about the Neoprene type now. Blinking horse. It's always THIS one getting herself into trouble these days

I may have to consider fitting wall-mats (for next winter) but the livery yard walls are breeze blocks, so not the easiest to fix to. But in the 4 months I've been at this new yard there have been 3 new horses come and go from the next-door stable and with the low walling it means the horses can snap and bite each other when standing over their doors. It's a PITA frankly.

I am just hoping the damage done over-night, last night, is not permanent
