Hock Boots

I seem to own a very clumsy horse who keeps knocking his hocks over night in the stable.

i have tried huge banks ie 8 bales of hunter woodchips etc bandages vet wrap and gamgee all of the above seem to be a non starter.

Could i leave him in lightweight Hock boots over night ?

PF does the same... blinking horse. Have tried her with neoprene hock boots that are stretchy, but they make her sweat a bit. Course it IS significantly warmer here than in the UK, so it might be worth trying them.

Don't bother with the neoprene boots - tried them on my boy and he was dripping with sweat! I would try and find some that are made out of cotton quilting or make your own

Mine used to knock his hocks. I tried Hock boots...didn't work. Eventually I installed rubber matting, expensive I know, but I've had no problems since.

I was thinking about wall matting as it seems that he is doing as if he was kicking out over night.

You can but they are almost garanteed to slip down!!
