Hock injections

my gelding has had the injections into both his hock and he has not looked back ever since he has been so good that the last time the vet saw him he said that if he was for sale(which he is not) he would pass a5 stage vetting realy pleased with the outcome
 
Two pieces of advice: make sure that the injections are done in a sterile environment as there is a slight risk of the needle introducing an infection in the joint. Also, be aware that there is an increased risk of laminitis associated with cortisone injections (vets usually inject cortisone and HA together) - don't turn out onto lush grass for a few days afterwards.

Otherwise, yes in my experience they work and can help keep horses comfortable and pain free.
