Hi
~My friend has a horse with a suspected Hock injury. When she got the horse he'd previously had a tendon injury from when he was travelled over from Ireland, it hasn't been a problem for the last year! until recently his hock became really swollen. She had the vet out a few days ago and he has said that it could be a hock injury and she needs to take him to liphook surgery for a scan, x-ray and possible steroid injections.
She's asked my advice on hock injuries but this isn't something i've ever had to deal with, so wonder what experiences you have all had in this area?
