Hock Injury Help

My horse slipped and fell in the ice while playing in the snow. He got up holding his hind leg. There is a lot of swelling in the front of the hock and it seems to stick or lock. Anyone anything to share? Awaiting the vet. Doesn't seem in be in pain. Thank you

He had been in a pen type set up since his accident, but I turned him out over the weekend. Still lots of snow and ice here. Here seems to moving better less discomfort. Thank you
