Hockley Woods, Essex anyone?

Hi, I'll be moving to Hockley in Essex at the end of the year and am looking to keep my horse near Hockley Woods, any recommendations on livery near by? DIY livery preferably with a school but the off road hacking would be 1. priority, I don't mind a bit of road work though. Is the riding good through the woods, can you go a good few miles? Thanks x

Loads of places in the immediate area that do diy, valley forge, the grange, malyons farm, pulpits, the lawns.
The ride through the woods is ok, lots of dog walkers and the track is stones mainly. Access to fields directly out of the woods for a good blast, nice hacking area!

Thanks for the heads up, yes The Lawns look amazing, will be checking that out when I'm doing next week.

I did read on another thread that a 'farmer' had told them off for going in their field (only walking around the perimeter where there were plenty of hoof prints anyway) so thought the fields might be a no go...
