Hocks!

If this was a horse what would you think about these hocks?

This is one of my White tails, I see them all the time but until I looked at the photos from this morning I never noticed the hocks on this one

Is that some sort of deer?

It is a whitetail. Presumably swelling on the hocks is similar whether it is horse or deer though.

Well, a bit of all three of those really This is post surgery to remove a lump (that wasn't far off this big )cause by a reaction the filly had to a foreign body. This is the lump that resulted from a reaction to her internal stitches ( are you seeing a theme here!)

Anyway, it is nearly normal now but is a bit thicker than the other side. I think it will always be a bit lumpier than the good one but it's definitely better than it was!
