This might be a little long winded!!! Basically, I am taking an extended period of unpaid leave off work to do a little travelling (2 months) and I've been let down by the person who was going to be looking after my 2 horses and stable cats. I have my own stables and paddocks and was half thinking if it would be worth advertising for someone to keep their horse with me for the 2 months I am away for free and they in turn looked after my 2 horses and cats. I'd pay for their hay, straw and feed and they'd have a stable and paddock in the mix too. I'm happy for mine to live out and just have rugs, water, hay and feed whilst I was away. The only problem is I wouldn't want another horse/person there on a permanent basis so it would be literally for the 2 months give or take a few weeks. Do you think I'll get any takers or am I being ever hopeful?! Oh I am off in October so not long to get organised!
