Holkham Beach Walk Today - with pictures *lots*

Well today was the day and hopalongandhen and missieh and I met up at Holkham beach to walk the mutts.

It was lovely to meet everyone and the dogs and they all got incredible well

- not a grumble form any of them - even Sweep wasn't to put out when he got knocked over by a hooning Max and Henry!!

Apologies once again to missieh who had to wait for both hopalong and myself as we got stuck in slow moving 'its the weekend where is the rush' traffic in every direction.

Even the weather held out - was little bit blowy but no rain and wasn't as cold as it can be.

Max was disgrace - managed to find to fish carcasses that had to be eaten - much to the amusement of other dog walkers who were laughing!!

Other than that all things considered they were very well behaved and all got on and charged around together in a happy little gang.

My two got in the car and snuggled up together and were asleep as we left the car park - but woke up long enough to beg a chip or two before the long journey home.

So piccies......I took loads trying to get all 4 dogs together and finally managed it!!

So you will see Max, Sweep, Henry and Missy who is the gorgeous Newfoundland and making her first appearance on AAD in these pictures - she is like a big teddy bear!!

On the upside Henry was very good at coming back! Apart from the Picnic Incident... but we won't talk about that

sorry i couldn't make it just too busy with work/animals
kinda glad in a way i stayed behind as my youngster had her first trot today and i'm one proud mum

maybe we should do another one when the lighter evening appear .......

Lovely doglets, Missy is gorgeous!! She seems to be the only one equipped with a coat to deal with the North Sea though

CC - the noise was provided by Henry in hot pursuit of Max in the sand dunes - he was calling for his mate to slow down!!

Hen you are so right about her having the coat for it - she wandered in and out of the waves quite happily - Sweep got his paws wet and left and Max and Henry - well the loons were just completely over excited!!

Wow, the photos came out well after all that! I had great fun and Missie is now fast asleep in the usual position - on her back with her feet in the air!! She is one very content mutt!

Anyway I have finally warmed up...a cup of tea and a bacon buttie when I got home did the trick.

Both of mine are out for the count!!

I just ate a Twirl without either of them so much as opening an eyelid!!

Missie came out well in the piccies - she is very photogenic!!

Spoltchy if you lived near here you could come to Holkham with us - even your mutts would be worn out before they ran out of beach!!

He didn't actually eat any of the picnic. He just sort of lunged at it a bit.... I tackled him before he actually ate any of it.

Looks like you had a fun day, I would loved to have joined you with the Spangly one but we were having to buy CCTV to stop the bad people from stealing stuff again! Hopefully next time.

Brilliant pictures.

I wish Leah liked the beach... she's such a wimp, she won't go anywhere near the sea and even the sand freaks her out a bit.

Last time we took her she just huddled next to me looking distressed until we took her back to the car, the daft thing. I'm determined that when I get a dog in future, it will be one that LIKES water.

Awww i love Holkham and my dogs think that is the best place in the whole world. We go there every time i go home to see my folks.
