Hop Hop Holland!! And by 16 points! Enough to stay in the Super League, which the French win by about ten points. Today finished 1.Holland, 2 = USA and Ireland, 4 France 5 GB 6=Spain and Sweden. the last two are relegated along with Switzerland! The future is bright, the future is ORANGE!! :):):D:D

Yes, well done indeed, quite a gap between first and second.Just watching the victory parade, quite a spectacle in itself with marching bands and team of horses going round the arena.Lots of cheering and clapping.
The overall winners cheque has been presented to France, and the Aga Khan trophy is on a lap of the arena aboard one of the Dutch teams horses!
For me, highlights for GB have to be Carlo and Hello Sailor, and a great appreciative crowd.
Nations Cup has been good to follow this summer.

Indeed. What a difference a week makes. GBR didnt have a pole last week...this week a dozen or more from basically the same team. Germany, second last week, didn't even make the second round this week. Horses eh !?

Btw, what happenned to Poland? They didn't start at Hickstead or Dublin. Would have thought they would be required to be there regardless of the fact they were relegated already !?

On Horsetalk, the report said that they had a problem with a lame horse and could not field a team for Hickstead, I think. And probably the same horse would have travelled to Dublin. I expect as there was no chance of them avoiding relegation that the FEI did not make an issue of it.

Common sense from the FEI.........whatever next
