Actually, no jiggety jig at all
We brought FB and Ari home this morning - 22km on roads, quiet lanes and tracks. We must have been about 3km along the road when it dawned on me I was riding a horse I've only really ridden once before!!
They were stars - FB is pretty laid back anyway but we had cars with trailers, a cattle lorry, a tractor, cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, other horses, a level crossing and crossing a main A road and Ari just kept on moseying along. The cows were the worst - they obviously have the Evil Eye and the way they just stare whilst licking their nostrils is freaky for horses! Little bit of snorting and blowing but that's all!
They had a shower and are now out in the paddock with a big pile of hay each.
