Am i likely to find a horse that needs a home for the summer and Autumn?
Maybe one recovering from illness, injury or elderly/ youngster?

I have too much grass in my field, with only my daughters welsh section a and his buddy in it.
We have had to fence them off some so they dont get fat!
I dont want to waste the grass!

I have had projects in the past, so putting in some work is fine.

I have other horses so dont need one that needs keeping fit bit some light exercise to fit around the others it fine too.

Where should i look?

I have one of mine loaned out for the summer to a friend - he went yesterday and will come back in Oct.

I advertised on our hunt and rc website and was inundated with interest - if not I would put a 'wanted ad' in all local tack shops/feed merchansts and local papers.

If you have a lot of grass how about offering it to a local farmer to graze with a few cattle or sheep? It would do the field good as well as keeping the grass down.;)

I'm thinking about putting my mare out on loan, and would definitely consider loaning her till October time. Shes got no issues and is suitable for anyone to ride, bombproof safe but politely forward, but the reason I'm loaning her is I want someone to actually ride her and she cant handle being out on 13 acres with 2 others. Plus I'm in North Yorkshire, but I cant be the only one thinking about it!
