The drain and stitches are out!
Tina was terrified of the vets but she went in gold as good (well, shaking) I took her lampshade off and muzzled her and held her while the vet snipped out the stitches and pulled the drain out. She was such a star, not a peep out of her
I was worried she might require sedation (due to how she previously reacted) but vet was so quick it was over before she knew it
So leaving her lampshade off when I'm with her and then back on when she's alone (only for a few days longer) and I have to dab the woud with savlon/dettol/saline type solution. I'll be able to give her face a good clean too
Will post pics as soon as I can get some.
Vet also wants me to phone a Mr Millar in Earlswood vet as apparently he knows a lot about glucoma/eye conditions in dogs and he'll discuss it with me fully.
