Home made hair growth recipes?

I've recently turned my horse out in a new herd, the leader has had a nice few nips at him and ripped little bits of hair out. I usually wouldn't be bothered about this but after 4-5 weeks, none of the bite marks have grown hair. I've applied purple spray and Sudocreme yet no improvement. Does anybody have an easy home-made recipe to speed it on a bit? Thank-you!

Cornucresine, If they still make it was always good at helping with hair regrowth.

Cornucrescene rubbed well in is good . Eqyss Megatek rebuilder is also good but more expensive.
