my dad and i spent the morning bulding ourselves a delux home made hay steamer :D with all this hot weather our hay is drying out and because were getting to the end of our winters stockpile its quite dusty, enter haysteamer after looking around for one the cheapest we found was a hay steamer bad at £300  that would only do a haynet at a time - ours cost the grand total of £50 and you can steam roughly half a bale if not a bit more! im so excited!

its a delux version because going against my brief of wheelie bin+wallpapersteamer=haysteamer we have and integrated mesh shelf for hay to sit on whilst allowing steam through and a timer ;) NOW TAKING ORDERS FOR 2012 ;)

That's great I use an empty dustbin, pour a kettle of boiling water over put lid on and leave for an hour. Does the trick but can only do one smallish haynet per bin :)

it works really well - my friends dad built a version the otherweek and its amazing - works so well so we copied ;) theirs only cost £25 cause they already had the bin! would deffinatly reccomend doint it!
