Home made horse treats?

Has anyone done this? I want to start feeding the oily herbs to a mare of mine, but she doesn't have a hard feed, and I would Prefer to not start that so just wondering if I could make something she can have one a day?
Thinkìng soaked grass/fibre nuggets then mixed with herbs and re-dried maybe

I haven’t done that to feed a supplement but I do make treats with this recipe
1.5 cups plain flour
A squirt honey or molasses
Half a cup water
Some herbs/ shredded carrots or apples
Bake at 180 for 25 mins
