sam won a lovely gold special edition jump which we use for the weenies, very low, but essentially you need some thin plastic plumbing tubes in white....some sticky back plastic, colourful and an OH (yours can do shelters so very sure he can make these wings!!).....

Enjoy!!

I didnt make my own but went to the bsja store near to where I live and bought some of the old poles that were deemed too scruffy to use.

I cant remember what I paid but they were dirt cheap and much cheaper than you could make/paint anything for

When I was told that merlin shouldnt jump anymore I sold them for as much as I paid...... now we can jump again I would love some more!!!

have a look:) painting and shape is no problem but didnt ask for anything magnificant lol.

have a google of timer merchants/sawmills in your area, they are great for cheap wood,

if you want rustic jumps you need to have treated timber, or buy a treatment.

for fillars b and q are normally the best value, and will cut to the size you want.

if painting, you need to under coat, gloss the use a weather proof paint,

jump cups are a pain to buy westgate are the cheapest but wont supply privately, so ask you local feed/tack stores if they use them.
