Home made rug hangers!??

I am fed up of having to bundle my rugs up in bags in a corner of my tack room, so have decided to try and install a rug hanger.

Ideally I would probably need 10 hangers and I have looked online and they just cost a bomb for my usual pittance budget, so I am thinking about trying to make one with help of hubby and his power tools!!

Now it just so happens that we run a timber merchants so there is access to plenty of bits of timber but I just need to figure out the best way of putting one together!!

Does anyone have either a home-made one they have constructed (and if so can you post pics or discribe) or does anyone have any cunning ideas about how it can be done??!!

I use the garage at home for rug storage - there are rafters across the width at about 7' high and I just sling the rugs over. If they are wet, I put them over two so the air can circulate. Maybe you could construct something like that - I think that would be simple enough as long as you have the head height.
