Help! Kel goes to her new house tomorrow, and it's just been sprung on me that she'll need to be kept in for 48 hours after worming (yes, a real d'oh moment - I've had so much on my plate this week it never occurred to me), so she's going from 24/7 outside to being shut in her new stable on a yard where she doesn't know anyone. She'll go loopy!

Can anyone suggest any toys I can make/beg/steal to keep her amused for a day or so? Bearing in mind I don't know a soul on the new yard, so I can't be borrowing anything. I can't go out and spend a load of cash I haven't got on any proper toys because the only tack shop in the area closed at 4pm, and they're only going to be needed for two days.

Inspiration's deserted me - the only things I can think of are an empty lemonade bottle on some twine hanging up and a swede on a rope (which will last her about half an hour).

Veggie kebab! Sweede, apples, carrots etc on a string. Really P's them off if you can hang it in the middle of the stable (no wall to wedge against) Or just chuck a sweede in every now and then. Only thing with our 3/4 shire he can bite a big sweede in half in one bite...
