Has anyone made their own arena harrow?

Thinking of making my own but no idea where to start!

If so how did you do it/where did you get the materials/is there any improvements you would make/roughly how much did it cost you?

Also what do you tow it with? Also on a budget for this too!

TIA :)

I have a metal gate with a chain to hitch to the car and a few (8-10) bolts through the bars on one side if I need to cut into the surface a bit

Thanks for the ideas all!

Joking aside I am very tempted to bring my old boy out of retirement to tow it haha! Not sure how he'd react to having a metal gate dragging behind him though!

Gate sounds like the best option! Although probably don't have enough room to store a 4x4 just to use for towing and don't own anything that is 4x4! Might have to keep saving for a quad.....

Normal car should tow fine as long as arena not deep going, friend used a bed frame or metal headboard can't remember which! I have graded arena with a Skoda yeti (not 4x4) and ford kuga (AWD) ..

I have this. I'm not sure what it is, other than something that was once attached to a wall, bit it does the job! Its very very heavy, so it levels pretty well. For perfection, I'd like it to have a v shaped bit on the end to get to the sides of the school.

My cob does mine with a breast collar thingy and blue rope, dead cheap off eBay. Not that I've done it for years.
