Homemade horse likits!

Hi.
I was going to make my pony a homemade horse limit and I was wondering if anybody and any instructions on how to make them.
Somewhere there was something like mushing carrots and apples?

If you're horse likes turnips you could tie one with some sailing rope. Hours of fun and very cheap!! ( don't se bailing twine as it can cut the horse)

Bumping as would love to know answer to this - my boy is very handy with his likit toy now so if I can make my own all the better!

What about boiling carrots, mashing them into a metal loaf tin, freezing it and giving them it frozen as a likit?

Or baking it really slowlyso it dries out into a block
