There was a post a while back with all recipes and ideas for making homemade horse treats.

I did have this saved for when i went on maternity leave, but the forum change meant this post disappeared from my saved posts.

Does anyone know a link to this post.

Or can give me any ideas of ways to make some homemade horse treats?

I have too much time on my hands and need things to do!

I dont have the link sorry but I do have a recipe I have found in magazines and all sorts :D
Additional ingredients:
1 cup oats
1 cup water
1/3 cup molasses
1 tablespoon honey
Shredded carrots
Shredded peppermints

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir oats, water, molasses, honey, and shredded carrots. Let sit for 10 - 15 minutes. Put all ingredients except peppermints on a greased pan, and bake for about 20 minutes. Take out of oven and sprinkle with shredded peppermint. Let cool.

Cassey loved them :P

yummy. I like the sound of the one above.

What about a frozen apple juice lolly, For these hot days. Might be a bit tricky unless theres a fridge freezer on the yard though.
