I was wondering if anyone has ever made their own herbal liniment. I realize that most storebought concoctions really just tingle for a brief time and the most important factor is cooling legs down after work to prevent tendon injuries.

I love the sore no more products...but they are expensive. I use whitchazel and wintergreen alcohol as a leg rub but I like the benefits of arnica. Would it be feaseable to soak dried anica in whitchhazel for a while and dilute with water to provide some benefit as both a leg rub and a body wash to help relieve or prevent muscle soreness?

If so...how long would it keep? Thanks for any input!

Sorry no advice on making liniment but I have heard that the liniment by absorbine is supposed to be really good.

Vinegar and water is a good cooler forelegs and used to be used years ago. Vinegar is also good for bruising. I also use Witchazel.
