would you use a stallion with a blue eye?

he is a nice warmblood, well bred, homozygous tobiano but has a blue eye, interested to know how many people would be put off;)

It definitely would not put me off as it is not only a recessive gene but the WB homozygous stallion that I used last year (who may well be the same one) has one and to my knowledge has only thrown one/maybe two with it out of hundreds of foals and my filly by him is superb so no it definitely would not put me off if everything else was as wanted.

Its the splash gene that causes blue eyes if they carry splash which a lot of homozygous horses do they tend to have the blue eye I would also hassard a guess that splash seems to travel with the TT Horses.
this theory is USA based as well as certiain genes seem recessive on one alle and dominant on the other
we own a homozygous tobiano splash carrier Stallion

Sabino and dominant white can cause blue eyes too, not just splash. :)
