Anyone got one? Any good?
Thinking about getting one about 07 plate, low miles, diesel. I know they're economical fuel-wise but will they tow and are they any good?

um I need to use it for my everyday vehicle, so will need to commute to work in it, cart baby around, every couple of months we will need to travel long distance to visit family etc. It would be nice to be able to tow a single trailer too.

They are lightweight for towing - if you're using a single horse box then you can fit a decent sized horse in the back and have no problems. I certainly wouldn't want to tow anything bigger than a single horse box unless it was a small pony

Don't know about towing but as an everyday car I loved my boyfriends, loved driving it was so comfy and almost just like driving a high car.

His mum bought it off him when he went back to a 'car' daily driver.

towing 1500

No probs with towing a single horse trailer on a B+E licence

Towing with a B only licence is more tricky as the max trailer MAM would be 1280 kgs (1280+2220=3500)

That would mean contacting the manufacturer to get the trailer downplated

As the heaviest single horse trailer is about 780 kgs then that still leaves a load/horse capacity of 500 but may be tight for many with large horses but ok for lighter ponies
