Found her collapsed in field this afternoon, trying but not able to get up, very sweaty and gums white as a sheet. She's nearly 35yrs old but is normally fit and well. She kept struggling to get up with us helping but couldn't make it and a couple of times went very twitchy and eyes rolling back etc.

Vet arrived and gave her finadyne I/v and said if that doesn't get her up then time to make that decision. We gave her 15mins for the drug to kick in and then rolled her over AND she got up!!! Gave a huge whinny! Vet gave her a good check of heart, tummy, legs and all fine so she'd just gone down to roll we think and got stuck bless her and then got exhausted from trying to get up. We think she'd only been down about an hour.

She had a big poo and a wee and is now in her stable overnight with checks by her mum and me. But thank god she looks like she's ok, just got to have bute for a few days.

She's very special to us so some vibes would be great thanks xxx

Glad to hear she is ok, Vibes from me and ours for her to be ok after the fright :)
Hope this isn't a sign of things to come and that she carries on for a good few years yet
