Hi just a quick question I'm moving my good doer chaps from Happy Hoof to this and a lo cal balancer to save calories. At the mo I'm just doing the change over a week or two and wetting the chaff as it's really dry and mine cough at anything. Sound Ok?

Also I'm sure someone said they give a trug of this at night to bulk out hay rations. I have to soak all hay so this would be an attractive option instead of an extra soaked small double net or trickle night net as I'm spending my life soaking and drying nets. If you do this with the chaff how much do you feed and again do you dampen down or just feed dry.

Many thanks tea and kit kat for all replies:)

I give my boy a big skip bucket full, he only eats it if he's desperate but I feel better knowing he has the option of something else to eat over night when his hay runs out! I do damp it down a little.
