HooBee half-treed saddles: anyone tried?

if they mean a real half tree then avoid like the plague, a half tree basically is a header plate, with stirrup bars and the tree finishes mid point under the rider. it is seen frequently in race exercise saddles and is one of the instrumental causes of serious back problems in racers as if presses in hard and the back of the saddle flips up.

If however they don;t mean a half tree, they just mean a smaller tree, then how on earth can that fit every horse? Do they mean it has a header , but flexible points? In which case it will only fit within a parameter, similar to the Barry swain semiflex. Also without photos I would stay well clear, and take into account that was written in 2007 and still no photos or any further information.

Hi. I haven't seen one of these saddles myself but my mum said that some people in her riding club have them and really like them. Are you still looking for a saddle for your cob? You're welcome to come and have a look at my Kent and Masters cob saddle -don't think you are too far from me.
