I am wanting to build a sticky thread on the Phoenix Forum with a user's guide to boots. Does anyone have hints and tips from their experiences with boots?
no but I'm finding it a lot easier since someone on there pointed out that pulling gloves off by each heel bulb first works better although they still seem to ping off and hit frank's belly/back legs!
I bought some cavallo simple boots recently, and they're excellent, my horse was footy over gravel, (don't want to get into a debate on this here) and she is so much happier in them now, plus she's only had them a week and I'm a little cautious in saying this, but I think the sole quality has improved.
I bought these are they looked really quick and easy to put on - and they are.
No hints or tips but it would be useful to know if particular types are more useful for horses with less than perfectly shaped hooves and which are easiest to fit.
