Hoof boots

What recommendations do people have for hoof boots - need one for a hind foot, unshod, for use in the field between horse getting over abscess and farrier putting shoe back on. Thanks.

the cavil ones are quite and cheap easy to put on, you can often pick up 2nd hand ones cheaply on ebay.

There are some medi boots for this sort of thing, cant recall the name.

Cavallos are good and can be used for roadwork.
I would not guarantee they stay on if very muddy and horse goes nutty, you might turnout with sedalin calmer.
Or turnout in an arena to see how it goes for an hour or so.

I've got some old Boa boots what I use for this sort of thing - very handy to have. If your boy is a size 2 you're welcome to one

Probably just get some cavallos or something similar second hand for that job. They come in pairs that's the only thing.

Remember you'll need to use a pair of boots whether or not both feet need them. If you do go for boots Cavallo Simples are easy to use.
