Hoof Disinfectants - Homemade or off the Shelf?

As the title really. Are there any 'recipes' for homemade ones, or are things like Dettol ok? Or the ones that are actually sold as a 'horse hoof disinfectant'?

I used milton disinfectant last year and that worked well to clean C's hoofs.

Using Red horse hoof spray at the moment which is good and not overly expensive.

Hydrogen peroxide. Kills anything.

This my farrier always recommends,just dont use it too often or the foot will become too hard.
