Hello
Long story short on the 30th we got the vet out for horse as he was very footsore and she found a corn infection so now on boxrest and bandaged- She has spoken to the farrier and has told us; if the farrier thinks the infections gone he will put his front shoes back on(this weekend) and they have a some sort of care mangement cause hes feet dont seem to be growing, but anyway after hes done that he can only be walked around in hand for the next 5/6 weeks (aka when the farriers next due out) in the arena because anymore work will make things worse.
Now don't get my wrong im not denying anything the vets saying and im no expect but 5/6 weeks cause of a small injection seems a bit long? specialy if the farrier thinks its cleared up enough to shoe?
Just wanted to see others opinions
thank you x
