My horse got injury in Tendon and gets recovered. After sometimes I found that his front hoofs are unbalanced, while the right hoof grows faster than the left. The tendon injury gets back and I’m not sure if the injury is because of the unbalanced hoof OR the hoof is not growing due to the tendon injury? Anyone can help?

Tendon injuries take some time to heal. It could be that the envelope was pushed before he healed properly. It could be that the hoof is not balanced properly and continuing torque has re-injured. Its possible that its the right foot is the injured one (guessing here) and he is not weighting it properly due to pain. This kind of lack of use lets the growth pack on instead of wearing off, but one foot is probably not growing faster than the other. The imbalanced growth on that foot is also because of the way he's using it. On the same hoof, if the pain is on one side more than the other, he will lean on the good side, letting the painful side get longer from lack of being weighted, messing up the medial/lateral balance. Get a good balanced trim, fight thrush and follow the vet's protocol to the letter with patience on your sleeve. A hoof will always be what a horse needs it to be. It is a horse's survival. Once the tendon issue is gone, the growth will straighten out accordingly. Good luck!
