hoof picking stupid question

Hi I have difficulty bending down low enough to successfully pick out my mares feet she is not the best at keeping still I wondered has anyone ever heard of or used a low stool to sit on while picking

i suppose you could although as long as your mare is fairly quiet wouldn't want her spooking or kicking out at you you'd be in the firing line but if you know what shes like ? could be an option

I used to use a milk crate/beer bottle crate to sit on when I was doing things for my shetland, anything from brushing his tail out, clipping etc.
