Hes exactly 24 hours overdue his 6 weekly shoeing cycle at this point, and has been on a good barefoot diet for about 7 weeks. Hes getting his shoes off and a barefoot trimmer is coming out on Sunday. Hes foot sore over the gritty bit of the drive going out to the field even in shoes, and has over the last couple of weeks escalated to being very unwiling to go back out once hes come in. He walks in fine over it, so might just be him bein unwilling to leave his room service stable! LGL is a worry for me. He moves yards on Saturday and will be in for a week in quarantine then on very limited grass, with a grazing muzzle if necessay.But other than that bit of gravel/grit on the drive hes marching out looking sound as a pound and freer and more active than when I bought him, so culd just be one of his quirks, he has a few
