Evening :)

I wondered if you knowledgable lot could have a look at my horses hooves and offer any advice, as I'll admit I'm no expert by far.

The horse is a unbroken 3yr old Welsh D and has never been shod (at least I hope not  have only had him almost a year!) He is out 24/7 with no feed. He is 100% sound and last trimmed 2 weeks ago.

He will be stabled at night at beginning of Nov. At night he will be given ad lib hay and having read previous barefoot threads his feed will be fast fibre, pro balance + and micronised linseed - however I'm willing to take any advice on this if you think this should be altered.

Anyway - pics taken tonight - please excuse any dirt, I only quickly cleaned them :o

Please be kind, I'm looking for advice and will happily accept!

I'm no expert - it does appear you have a bit of stretched white line, but then living out 24/7 on (presumably) unrestricted grazing it's not surprising. The first photo also makes it look as if he has worn the toe?
Again, photos can be deceiving but it looks as if there is very little concavity in his hooves. I think you should definitely notice a difference with the pro balance +, and as I assume he isnt in work, they should improve with more movement on different surfaces.
Again, this is all my amateur opinion, but they seem fine for essentially 'field' hooves.
