Just remember (thank you M_M) that i keep forgetting to post the fact that im after some hoof stuff for competing - Stuff that stays shiney but drys instantly so you dont get half the arena stuck to their hooves!!

Can anyone help? I havent a clue what its called, who makes it or anything!

Also does anyone use such stuff? If so is it good/bad for hooves?

Supreme Hoof Paint is what I use. Best to apply when horse is on the concrete and then wait about 5-10 mins and off you go glossy shiny hooves!!

I agree the Supreme hoof paint is great.
My farrier has won tons of awards and says that it doesnt do anyharm what so ever.
it will stay on for days, and naturally come away- a bit like nail varnish really.
Would really recommend.

thanx for that guys. found the supreme hoof paint on line so i think i shall be getting that

There is a new one that has just come out which is a clear shiny one that you spray on. It is part of the Lynn Russell Range from a company called Net-Ex and it looks great. So much easier to spray than paint (providing your horse is OK with spray noises!). We test products like this on The Show Ring, so once we have had a delivery and tried them out, we can let you know if they work or not!
