i'm a NAF profeet person here, i hate throwing money down drain, but i have seen an improvement in hoof quaility and even my lovely grumpy farrier has notice an improvement. Still have bad feet but atleast he has a bit more to work with
I have used Kevin Bacon and it is fab. Farriers forumula also has a very good reputation.
Am trying Profeet on a horse I look after atm, but have yet to see an improvement (has been a few months), so think I will switch to FF.
i was giving my horse NAF profeet for over a year and then in july his poor feet cracked badly and couldn't hold shoes. I stopped the Naf profeet because it clearly did not make any difference just a waste of money. since then i have made sure that he gets a vits & mins supplement and his feet have improved no end.
his feet are harder and better than i've since them in the 18 months i have had him.
I have tried newmarket hoof supplement and naf pro feet.
To be honest the best thing I have found is Black oil sunflower seeds, good farriery, naf hoof moist applied daily and careful management with the turnout and always put over reach boots on! Much cheaper than the supplements!!
Keratex is fab, recomoended by my farrier! When I first had my TB he said his feet were like shoeing a spounge! They are a load better now I use keratex everday. I also love Kevin Bacon for competitions as it dosen't sofen the feet like regular hoof oil! I put a biotin supplement in his feed too.

Formula 4 Feet seems to be working wonders on Ben, together with cornucrescine alternated with Effol. Farrier finally noticing a difference in hoof growth and quality. Ben has always had horrendous cracks in his front feet, but, touch wood, they have disappeared!
