my gelding had a puncture wound begining of september, not much abcess but a huge frog infection.
this has all gome but meant the farrier clipped away his heel bulbs and his frog has come off. he has a new one growing in ok tho.
when the vet signed him off three weeks ago she said he was sound.
however until now its still warm. what could the reason for this be. it does vary some tims warmer than others.
could it be that without the frog and heel that his foot is more sensitive and this is why?
any ideas would be great!
thanks
