Days like today serve as a great reminder why we're all members of this forum - simply because we love horses.

So despite the heated "debates", accusations of being a bunch of bitches by other forums and of course the "F" word I have to say I don't think theres another forum around qute like this one. One I'm proud to be a part of..

So whether you got involved in the field today, rang/emailed authorities, harrassed stands at burghley, or simply hit refresh over and over waiting for news, whether you got involved in operation ester, the stamford guys today, godiva or any of the other amazing things that have come out of this foum i think we all deserve a drink.

Good on you HHO.

I think it's our newest member 'Andy' who really needs the champagne for taking the time to join and post and kick start the whole thing. The rest of you can have some fizzy pop and a big piece of chocolate cake

well said and well done everyone - I do get the feeling it was very much a team effort from everyone with some particularly courageous and caring people prepared to go out on a limb and help. It restores my faith in human kind a little to see that there are people that pull together and make things happen and it reminds me why horses are such an important part of my life.
 
Hear hear - and a particular big thanks to Andy. I did read he isn't even horsey yet he found this forum and got something done!

I will second that, and will raise a glass to Andy and Chloe for having the tenacity to not be flobbed off, WELL DONE to both of you, and to all the others who followed up, AMAZING result.
 
Fantastic work done to everyone who supported the people out on the field today.,
I for one wish I could of been there.
And a massive thank you to Andy and Chloe who have saved these horses lives by bringing it into the public domain.
I have some white wine if anyone fancies some?

I wonder what made him decide to put a post on here, don't think my hubby would have thought to & he's semi horsey but am very glad he did, so nice to get a happy ending.
 
Ditto.....WELL DONE EVERYONE ESPECIALLY ANDY AND CHLOE and yes I think the bottle should go to them as if it wasn't for them these poor animals would probably still be in the field tonight...thank goodness they are not!!

I can't stop smiling knowing that carrot and spud are safe
