hopefully he will think about his actions after this

It may be 'more than a slapped wrist', but IMHO the punishment is still not enough. I reckon who ever was the rider, may agree with me. Ludicrous speed! Hope the horse wasn't too frightened.. you'd need a darn good traffic proof horse to cope with that.

WTF!!! I thought you automatically got a year ban for over 100mph. I assume horse and rider are ok....albeit shaken.
Now I do believe speed limits are pretty low, but this is ridiculous!!!
Basically, might have just as well told him what a naughty boy he is....*******ing judicial system...

They are their own worst enemy some bikers. I know some who are very considerate and put safety first but also see so many who care not one jot about anybody, not even themselves!!

No thought for others

my cousin was driving the tractor and trailer that was hit by a bike-it hit the back of his trailer when he was turning right, then hit another tractor too.
their poor families are left to grieve, and the poor witnesses are left to go over and over it in their minds too
both riders were killed outright

Anyone going at that type of speed in whatever vehicle should face an instant ban, £360 isn't a lot when it could have cost at least one life if the horse wasn't traffic proof.

Don't wish to go against the grain here, the motorcyclist really has no excuse to be going at that speed, but from the picture it doesn't look like the rider has any hi-viz on - maybe if they did then the motorcyclist would have spotted them sooner and at least made an effort to slow down?
