Horlicks is not very well!! She has been out of work for the last 3 weeks due to her back (again!) :(

It seems to be a weakness of her's, and I wish I could something for her :(
I think the saddle person came down yesterday, but not sure what he said. I went down to yard today to get some manure with OH, and we went over to see her, and give her an apple and a cuddle. She looked very bored in her stable :(
If she were mine, of course she would be rested and have the physio in, but alas, she's not yet. :o

So any spare vibes would be greatly appreciated if you fancy sending them her way. ;)

((((vibes)))) im in the same situation at the mo but his back problem is secondry to lameness in all four legs and sacroliac pain as the vets have discovered. lots of treatment ahead and big bills!! if it continues its deffiinatly worth having a vet take a look as it seems most of the time it stems from something else. good luck. xx
 
Oh, Lippy ... could this not be an opportunity or you to make them an offer they can't refuse? I know how much you want her and really hope one day she's yours.

its really hard when there not yours iv'e been in a similar situation and know how you feel.
sadly i found her dead in the field and all the owner could do was shout about insurance money, she had been in my name only 6 weeks ,there was an argument before she died,old owner wanted her put back in her name but i kept putting it off ,at least she was mine when she died and always will be now.

i was hart broken and still have a bit of her mane taped inside my competition hat lol

if you have the chance to make her an offer ,go for it you dont know how long they'll be here if not give her lots of hugs and treasure every moment you have with her.

my hart goes out to you because i never want to be in that situation again its so difficult.
hope it all works out in the end and if its meant to be it will.
there was a lot of strange fatefull things happened before and after she died witch ill not go into because ill look like a nutter lol

but if she is ment to be yours and it sounds like it, you'll find a way ,or she will and it will all work out in the end x
 
Archiesmummy - I have been wanting to make an offer, especially at the moment, but I have a few things happening in my life, which involves money, so financially I'm not ready, and she will need lots of TLC at the moment!!
Angelish - Thank you for your kind words! I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but like you say, at least she left this world in your care!

I am going to give the yard a call after B/H, and see if I can go up there after work during the week, and maybe at the weekend, to give her some TLC, and give her a good groom. She will be feeling a little left out at the moment, as obviously the girls at the yard have to sort out all the horses for lessons etc, so she won't really get much TLC... plus she's not the most favourite horse on the yard... she can be a bit grumpy on occasion, but I still love her!!
I just wish I had sme spare cash... she would be such a different horse if she was privately owned , even my instructor said I should drop a hint that RS's aren't right for her!!
