has anyone used a supplement for mares seasons and found it helps?
Mine has a hormone inbalance found by a vet when scanned. She comes into season every 2 weeks and gets quite sore in the lumbar area and very sensitive to ride for about 3 days of the season, then goes back to completely normal.

things ive tried so far are :
oestress liquid
Agnus castus powder
D&H stroppy mare.

No difference on any of these, does anyone reccomend any different supplements or shall i bite the bullet and pay for regumate?

It sounds like you might have to put your mare on Regumate. I don't have direct experience with it but it seems to be the one mares end up on if nothing else works and it does work. It is a pain as you need gloves to handle it and will need to put together little tubs for the week if you aren't going to be around to dispense it with each feed. I believe there is an injection version that lasts a few months but both these options are costly. I am not a huge fan of herbal remedies as I haven't found a single one that actually works for any ailment so I am a bit jaded

As others have said try regumate or the injection is Improvac, just ask the vet plenty of questions as sometimes can cause infertility, not a problem for some people but is for some.
