Hormone supplements?

I want to try my girlie on hormone supplements as we think she might play up due to her seasons, not sure but we've tried pretty much everything else and its worth a shot!

So can someone recomend me a good one please?

The heavy weight stuff is regumate but you need to speak to your vet to get that. If you are going for the herbal route, i think it is trial and error to find what suits your mare - bit like ladies being on the pill

My TB mare (Who went on a rampage, wouldn't let anyone into a field with her, ran through electric fencing, kicked someones horse and cornered her field mate, and couldn't be ridden due to her season) is on Stroppy Mare Suppliment. It has just chilled her completely! I don't even notice when she is in season anymore. There is another one called Oestress, but I can't really comment on it as I have never tried it. Some mares are good on one but not the other so it depends on what works for your mare. Good luck!

Oestress - thats the one! Someone recomended that for me but I couldn't remember what it was called.

I heard about regumite but it scares me a bit lol! Rather try something else first.

Hi, I have just purchased a tub of the Oestress, as I have been having problems with my mare whilst riding. Not paying attention, curling her body round, not rounding etc, had saddle checked, back checked, all Ok although tight and tender around where her ovaries are.... so I went straight to the shops today and bought some. Bloomin expensive but hopefully it will be worth it if it works.
I also noticed on the same shelf in the shop the `Feel good 30` range, that was for hormones too.

I've got my mare on Oestress and its worked really well. before that when she needed something a bit stronger i had her on a product by 'Hi Form' called 'Topline' its designed to give topline but its been found to regulate mares seasons. it worked wonders on my girlie. its expensive though but definately worth it- after she tried to kill me for the 100th time i was desperate so didnt mind paying!
