Now that we're properly into winter I've noticed a big difference in my mare's behaviour - she is nowhere near as spooky as she's been all summer even though the weather is a bit more turbulent. I think her hormones must be affecting her more than I realised. She's never been a particularly marish mare but a new gelding arrived late in the summer and she thinks he is a proper stud and got very silly about him in her last two seasons. She gets Nupafeed MAH which seems to help her. I tried her on Buck Off this summer but it made her worse (they were really good and refunded my purchase). I'm wondering if there is anything over the counter that I could try in the spring to keep her hormones in check or if I need to speak to the vet? Thanks
