I turned my 4yr old out this morning wearing my 6yr olds lightweight/medium weight (has only a small amount of fill) as he was getting a bit chilly in a rain sheet. When I went to go get the boys in for the farrier later on I noticed that my 4yr old was bending round trying to reach something on his rug. As I got closer I realised that he had a surcingle in his mouth, I managed to prize it out of his mouth and do it back up. I thought nothing of it until I got back to the yard and started to take his rug off. It appears that he has ripped/chewed 1 surcingle off the rug and I can't find it anywhere! my only guess is that it has been thrown down the back of the muck heap like he did to the water buckets....
so now I have 2 horrible rug wrecking monsters.- One of them has stripped naked over night and weed all over his rug and the other chewed off a surcingle. Is it possible to buy just one surcingle as I don't have any rugs I can cut one off of.
So does anyone want a pair of naughty coloureds that are very talented in the rug wrecking department
