Had a letter today to say that Horsatack Droitwich is closing down on 29th June due to "circumstances beyond their control"!
It's on the Facebook page too https://www.facebook.com/horsatack.droitwich?fref=ts
I received a final points balance for their Reward Card, with a voucher for 59p! :tongue3:
I feel sorry for the staff losing their jobs, but I'm not overly surprised that it's happened.

Another closed shop in Droitwich , had heard of finance problems as in losing money. Will be a loss of useful for a bag of feed , vet wrap but luckily broomfields animal at holt steps into the breech. Feel for one of my friends working there.

I've always preferred Equestrian and Country Leisure (Top Barn), a much wider range and much better customer service. It was useful for the basics though.
I've not heard of Broomfields Highlands, do you have a link or their address at all? Thanks

I don't know what your Horseatacks are like in the UK but over here there were a few and they were absolutely massive! And sold everything you could possibly want. The stock they held was a huge amount and I heard the company ran into financial difficulties. Most of them have closed down now.

ECL is a proper shop agreed for a better range! If coming from Worcester, past top barn turning. You will come round a bend, up the hill. Turn right opposite post office head for ombersley. Right at mini roundabout and its on your left before the holt fleet pub. There new, helpful and will get anything in.

Not that huge but ok , limited range very much Dublin, Weatherbeeta etc. always guarteed a rug in the size and good for shampoo or a supplement.

Ah, ours had Stubben and Passier tack and Horseware rugs as well as Weatherbeeta stuff. They sold full sets of show jumps and fillers and stable stuff, including internal stables etc. They were warehouse sized here so really big stores.

You have lots of choice Tumbleweed

In kiddy there is Donna Leigh, past morrisons and next left. Jackie Roberts at Romsley and Romsley country stores ( head for Halesowen and turn right on a roundabout) - both do feed.

Countrywide at Bromsgrove and Mel issacs for saddle fitting ( and jackie Roberts fits too). Equimix at Stourport ( feed also) on Sandy Lane Trading estate.

Equestrians and country at Hallow ( top barn complex) ( feed also)

Broomfields if feed needed!

That's a shame but they seem so restricted on the brands that they can/will sell. The one in MK has lots of stuff but its lots and lots of the same stuff if that makes sense. I don't go there anymore unless I am passing the door and just need a horsey fix

I work just over the road from the MK one but I drive down to RB unless I need something cheap & basic in a hurry. Needed a coupling in the week & had to explain to 2 assistants what it was & then the only thing they had had a leather lead attached £26! Stood outside shop & ordered what I wanted from ebay for £6.

I live close to the MK one and have to agree, the range is limited at best. I have been known to go in there whilst the sale is on and come out with nothing!! The only thing I buy in there now is feed, 1 bag of HIfi lasts my boy about 3 months!
