I have emailed three people re horses for sale on the net and have not had the courtesy of one reply. Do the messages you send through the sites go direct to the sellers does anyone know? Surely its not beyond people to simply mail you back and say horse is sold, or at least take the ad off the net. Makes me so cross. I have never come across a section of people that are as rude as horsey bods ? Sorry present company excepted !Actually rude not right word but cant think of what is !

Not sure about all the horse for sale sites, but the 1's I've used have sent me a message saying I have a message or email.
I have always replied, she's still for sale tho.

I'm sure I would reply back also even if she weren't tho

I have an advert on horsemart at the moment and I have emailed everyone back that has contacted me. Now I have taken a deposit I have updated the advert...it is very frustrating when people don't reply and also very rude!

A nice confidence giver at 15.2 - 16.2 for hacking for a mature lady rider ! Seen two or three but no feedback at all. Mind you everyone wants this type so probably have lots of replies

i'd ring instead of email... because you're looking for something that a lot of other people will also be looking for. i suspect they'd get lots of calls which they'd answer immediately... maybe emails reach them too late?

also, if i was selling my horse, i'd want to sell him to someone who rang... i don't know why, i just think it feels more personal... also, lots of sellers say 'no text or email' so i reckon it's a common feeling...

If you give me some more specific details I'll have a little horse hunt for you if you like (I am bored and also quite enjoy horse hunting for others)
Age, max price, if you are willing to look nationwide or only in a certain area, experience of the rider, what they are looking to do with the horse and any other specific requests.
