I've owned several horses and have never seen a reaction like this. Initially just started as three lumps and gradually the hair began to fall out to reveal scabby skin below. Now the reaction has spread and many more smaller scabby lumps are visible under the horses front leg and onto the underside of his chest and resulted in further hair loss. Could this be some type of allergic reaction to the fly bites?
